Orthodontics

Crooked teeth can affect your confidence, your dental health and your general wellness. Master Dental & Orthodontics offers several orthodontic options to improve the alignment of your teeth.

Patients throughout Ocoee, FL can come to our orthodontic team for braces and clear aligner treatment, planned on a fully digital workflow.

Why Orthodontic Care Matters

Improve the Alignment of Your Teeth

Poor dental alignment can be uncomfortable and contribute to oral health problems. Left untreated, crooked teeth may lead to teeth grinding (bruxism) and TMJ disorders. Orthodontic treatment straightens the teeth and supports proper function of the jaw joint.

Prevent Future Dental Health Problems

Crooked teeth make oral hygiene more difficult, which raises the risk of tooth decay and gum disease. Orthodontic care can help you avoid restorative treatment later.

Support Your Confidence

Many patients tell us that finishing orthodontic treatment changed how they feel about smiling in photographs, at work and around other people.

A Fully Digital Workflow

Treatment here starts with a 3D digital scan rather than a putty impression. From that scan we build a digital model of your teeth and plan the finished result before treatment begins. Your brackets are positioned on that digital plan, then transferred to your teeth in a single step using a custom tray, a technique called indirect bonding, instead of being placed one at a time by eye.

Planning the finish first means the whole course of treatment is mapped before the first bracket goes on, and bonding from a tray usually makes the bonding appointment shorter.

Treatment Options

Metal Braces

Metal braces remain one of the most effective and best-proven options for treating misalignment. Modern materials and planning make treatment more comfortable than it once was, and adults and teens can choose colored ties if they want a bolder look.

Ceramic Braces

Ceramic braces use clear or tooth-colored brackets and wires, which makes them far less noticeable than metal.

Champagne Braces

Champagne braces have a soft, warm-toned finish instead of the bright silver of traditional metal. Many patients pair clear ceramic brackets on the upper teeth with champagne on the lower, which reads as subtle and understated rather than obviously orthodontic. If the look of braces is what has held you back, this is the option worth asking about.

Clear Aligners

Clear aligners are removable and hard to notice, which makes treatment convenient and discreet. Many practices simply hand out aligner trays; at our Ocoee, FL practice your aligner treatment is planned and overseen by an orthodontist. We offer 3M Clarity Aligners, which use 3D digital scans and two different tray materials depending on the case.

Treatment at Any Stage of Life

Early Treatment

Orthodontic treatment is sometimes appropriate at a young age. Starting early can keep a developing problem from becoming a more complex one later. Early orthodontic care commonly begins in the K-6 age range and can reduce the need for treatment in the teenage years.

Adolescent Treatment

Teenagers have a lot on their plates, so we design adolescent treatment around real schedules, with orthodontic visits up to eight weeks apart.

Adult Treatment

It is never too late to straighten your teeth, and a large share of orthodontic patients today are adults. Ceramic braces, champagne braces and clear aligners all let adults complete treatment discreetly.
