SPECIALISTS WITH EXTRA TRAINING Team members
Dr. Rose has been in the dental field for more than 19 years. She is a graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry. After dental school she completed a General Practice residency at the University of Maryland, College of Dentistry and their affiliated medical system. After practicing general dentistry for a few years, Dr. Rose wanted to do more to help her patients improve their self-confidence and smile. She went back to Howard and completed an Orthodontic and Dento facial Orthopedic residency for two and half years to become an orthodontist. Dr. Rose has been a practicing orthodontist for the last 9 years. When she is not helping patients stand out with confidence, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Dr. Kenia E. Alvarez is a highly-regarded Board Certified Periodontist and Dental Implant Surgeon with over 8 years of experience. Board certification is only awarded to specialists who have made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of their specialty. Dr. Alvarez specializes in the treatment of gum disease and offers services that include: dental implants, extractions and bone grafting, bone & soft tissue reconstructive plastic surgery, sinus-augmentation, crown-lengthening, and periodontal microsurgery. Whenever she’s not helping patients improve their oral health and smiles, she enjoys spending time with her family.
